TWIN TUBE
The twin tube option is great for those who are looking for a comfortable ride while still having the ability to fine tune the shock for performance. Twin tube shocks generally are a progressive shock rate to ensure that when being used day to day that the shock can adapt with the driving/road conditions which is why this style of shock is the choice of OE manufacturers. What this means for a twin tube owner is that you can expect the shock to respond different based on road and driving conditions and it will progressively change, and get stiffer, when needed. Our twin tube option will include 15-way adjustable damping to allow fine adjustments to softness and stiffness of the shock and will be ride height adjustable 1-3 inches lower than factory height.

MONO TUBE
The mono tube option is the choice for those who do not want to sacrifice any performance available from their shocks and prioritize performance over ride quality. The mono tube option is still designed for the street but won’t have the same progressive shock rate as the twin tube option. This means a more consistent, predictable shock when handling but will also mean you’re not getting a softer rate for smaller road obstacles and a harder rate for larger ones; the mono tube shock will have the same resistance in compression and rebound regardless of conditions. Not only does it offer a very predictable nature from the shocks, it will also mean that the shock valving has less components and moving parts and should last longer than a twin tube option. Our mono tube option will include 32-way adjustable damping to allow fine adjustments to softness and stiffness of the shock and will be ride height adjustable 1-3 inches lower than factory height.

Both twin and mono tube options will have all the same features as the Raceland Ultimo coilovers including independent spring pre-load adjustment, lower spindle mounts that allow ride height changes independently from spring tension, and front camber plates. Shock bodies and springs are powder coated to offer another layer of corrosion resistance and the CNC-machined, hard anodized parts will mean you can expect to get many years usage out of your suspension without issue.
