Acura has designed their front struts to be ‘clamped’ into place so that even when the strut bolts are removed the strut remains tightly held in place. Removing the struts has proven to be extremely difficult without the right tools. The Acura Strut Spreader is the answer and allows for the struts to be released with little effort. Each strut spreader is made from hardened steel for strength to allow for ease of use with the Acura clamp-style hub.
